Thesis title: Sedentary behaviour and physical activity in hospitalised older people


Unyime Jasper is a physiotherapist with extensive experience working with older people. Jasper’s research is focused on preventing frailty, immobility and sedentary lifestyle in older people. He also has interest in healthy ageing over the life course. He holds a Master of Science in Gerontology.


Jasper’s current research is focused on the use of early bed/chair exercises to prevent frailty, sedentary lifestyle and immobility in older people following hip fracture.
